What data and why?

We use your name, email, address, order details and payment status to handle your order, invoice, return or enquiry (performance or preparation of a contract). We cannot do so without the necessary details. Statutory records are processed to meet legal obligations. Technical data, including a code derived from your IP address, help secure the website and prevent spam (legitimate interest).

Who receives data?

Our hosting and email providers process data for the website and messages. Mollie receives data for payments and invoicing; the carrier receives details needed for delivery. We do not receive full payment card details. We do not sell data or use it for advertising, profiling or automated decisions with legal effects.

Retention and cookies

We retain tax-related order and invoice records for seven years. Messages are kept as long as needed for handling enquiries, warranty or disputes. Security codes have limited validity; expired codes are removed during subsequent checks. We only use necessary session cookies. ALTCHA spam protection runs locally without an external captcha provider. We use our own Matomo at stats.gginter.net for basic visitor statistics, without tracking cookies. We measure page views and language, without form contents, order details or personal URL tokens. Administration, order-status and invoice pages are excluded. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Your browser connects to our statistics server, which therefore receives your IP address.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email info@boomber.nl; we normally respond within one month. We cannot always delete records required by law. You may complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
